Child & Adolescent Treatment (Ages 4-17)

Childhood and adolescence is a transitional time filled with positive milestones and challenges. Our team is here to provide care for the emotional and behavioral concerns that may surface during this important time in life. 

Trillium Place Young Minds Center, an affiliate of Carle Health, is the destination for comprehensive and innovative behavioral health care for children and adolescents. Inpatient services are delivered in a safe and supportive one-of-a-kind setting, designed just for kids. Inpatient services at the Young Minds Center are a remote location of Carle Health Methodist Hospital. 

Our team assists children and adolescents with a variety of mental health and behavioral health needs, including but not limited to: depression, anxiety, mood disorders, substance use, trauma, and more.

Services

  • Comprehensive treatment for a wide variety of mental health and behavioral health concerns for children and adolescents between 4 and 17 years of age.
  • Educational groups such as coping & life skills.
  • Individual and group therapy.
  • Recreation-based groups.
  • Family education and support.
  • Collaboration with community providers.
  • Assistance with follow up care and next steps based on individual needs.

Adult Treatment (Ages 18 and older)

Adulthood, filled with responsibilities and stressors, may lead to a need for supportive care to provide stabilization, counseling, education, and exploration of medication management. Whether you are struggling with life adjustment, depression, anxiety, or other mental health concerns, we are ready to assist you in managing your symptoms. Our dedicated team is ready to help begin the path of healing.We assist individuals with a variety of mental health and behavioral health needs, including but not limited to: suicidal thoughts and/or attempts, depression, anxiety, mood disorders, problematic substance use, trauma, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, and more.

Services:

  • Comprehensive treatment for a wide variety of psychiatric and behavioral health concerns for adults 18 and older
  • Education groups such as coping & life skills
  • Individual and group therapy group
  • Recreation-based groups including yoga
  • Family education and support
  • Collaboration with community providers
  • Assistance with follow up care, including placement, based on individual needs

Senior Treatment (Ages 55 and Older)

Many older adults suffer from changes in mood and behavior. These changes can be related to adjustment to lifestyle, isolation, loss of independence and then complicated by medical conditions. We offer comprehensive mental health treatment that understands the uniqueness of aging, for adults 55 and older.

Our team is committed to offering solutions that address the physical and emotional needs of the older population including:

  • Changes is sleep, appetite, tearfulness. (Depression)
  • Increased worrying, nervousness, and pacing. (Anxiety)
  • Behavioral concerns such as assaultiveness, cursing, or yelling.
  • Irrational beliefs that others are plotting to harm. (Paranoia)
  • Change in beliefs regarding self, others, or environment that are not accurate. (Delusions)
  • Auditory or visual hallucinations.
  • Progressive memory loss or confusion. (Dementia)
  • Other emotional or behavioral concerns.

Services:

  • Comprehensive treatment for a wide variety of psychiatric issues for adults age 55 and older
  • Individual, group and family therapy according to the needs of the individual
  • Family education for better communication and support for their loved one
  • Assistance in finding nursing home placement if needed or assist current facility in relocating residents to a more appropriate placement
